Greener Gadgets 2009

The Greener Gadgets Conference will be held on February 27 in New York City. Innovators, entrepreneurs, visionaries, and eco-designers will discuss the future of sustainability for the consumer electronics industry.

The conference will include discussions on -

  • Emerging energy technology
  • Real solutions for e-waste recycling
  • New inventions in energy generation and efficiency
  • Future forward recyclable gadgetry
  • The business case for going green
Presenters at the conference include -

GADI AMIT - principal designer and founder of NewDealDesign.

ADAM ASTON - energy and environment editor for BusinessWeek.

DR. SAUL GRIFFITH - co-founder of numerous companies including Low Cost Eyeglasses, Squid Labs, Potenco, Instructables.com, HowToons and Makani Power.

STEPHEN HARPER - global director of environment and energy policy for Intel Corp.

ANDY LEVENTHAL - founder and CEO of Planet Metrics.

EMILY PILLOTON - founder and executive director of Project H Design, a nonprofit that enables product design initiatives for humanity, habitats, health, and happiness.

KEN ROTHER - As president and COO, responsible for bringing the vision and strategy of TreeHugger to life.

DANIEL SIEBERG - science and technology correspondent for CBS and co-host of GWord with SuChin Pak, a program about environmental concepts and personalities, for Discovery Channel’s Planet Green network.
